Richard is an Engineer and award-winning Animator, Character Technical Director, with over 30 years in games, film, and television. Equally at home writing code or bringing characters to life, he’s worked on everything from coding gameplay systems and custom tools to animation and character rigs.
Credits including Call of Duty, Stronghold, Sam & Max VR, Socom, Terra Nova, and Snow White and the Huntsman and plenty more along the way.
With over 30 years of experience, Jim is an expert 3D artist and Art Director with a master-level command of the game development pipeline. His career includes artistic leadership at studios like LucasArts and Electronic Arts, where he shaped the visual identity of iconic franchises. From character and environment creation to lighting and effects, he has held key roles on a vast range of AAA titles, including lead positions on Gladius and Star Wars: Racer, Starfighter, and contributions to Republic Commando, Madden NFL, and the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series.
